His books include \u003cem\u003eBeachlight\u003c\/em\u003e (Seagull Books, 2023) and \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/epigrambookshop.xyz\/products\/this-side-of-heaven\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"\u003e\u003cem\u003eThis Side of Heaven\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e (Epigram Books, 2020). A two-time recipient of the Singapore Literature Prize (2006 and 2016) and the National Arts Council’s Young Artist Award for Literature (2005), he completed his doctoral degree in English Literature at the National University of Singapore in 2012. His work was featured in \u003cem\u003ePoems on the Underground\u003c\/em\u003e in London (2022). His writings have appeared in journals like \u003cem\u003ePoetry International\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cem\u003ePoetry New Zealand\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cem\u003eAmbit\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cem\u003eAtlanta Review\u003c\/em\u003e, as well as in anthologies by W.
