An important figure in the development of Singaporean poetry, Arthur Yap published several collections: \u003cem\u003eonly lines\u003c\/em\u003e (1971), \u003cem\u003edown the line\u003c\/em\u003e (1980), \u003cem\u003eman snake apple \u0026amp; other poems\u003c\/em\u003e (1986) and \u003cem\u003ecommonplace\u003c\/em\u003e (1977). He was awarded the National Book Development Council award for poetry for the first three. He also wrote a collection of short stories: \u003cem\u003eNoon at Five O’ Clock: The Short Stories of Arthur Yap\u003c\/em\u003e (2014) and had several solo art exhibitions throughout his career. He passed away in 2006.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAdia Tay\u003c\/strong\u003e is a singer, songwriter, poet and author. She published her first music album \u003cem\u003eKintsugi\u003c\/em\u003e and poetry collection \u003cem\u003eClose Enough\u003c\/em\u003e in 2019.
